GLOBAL COFFEE RETAILER EXPANDS FAIR TRADE SUPPORT FOR FARMERS

SEATTLE, Washington – August 22, 2026 — Global Coffee Retailer today announced an expanded Fair Trade initiative designed to strengthen support for the farmers and communities behind the coffee customers enjoy every day.

The initiative will increase purchases of Fairtrade Certified™ coffee while investing in programs that support farmers, strengthen coffee-growing communities, and encourage more sustainable farming practices. The expanded initiative focuses on:
- Increasing Fairtrade Certified™ coffee purchases and supporting fair wages
- Investing in clean water, education, and healthcare in coffee-growing communities
- Promoting sustainable farming and sharing farmers’ stories
The initiative invests in farmers and their communities while helping customers better understand the people behind their coffee.
